Gelato is Italy's version of ice cream. It has half the amount of fat and calories and is a great source of calcium and protein, making it a healthier alternative to ice cream. Versus Ice Cream, gelato is denser because it contains little to no air. This gives our gelato a smoother and more flavorful taste and texture. In addition, we only use hormone-free milk which contains no preservatives.
Our team of trained gelato chefs make our gelato the traditional European way, using the Itilian hot process. Buona Terra is the only Gelateria in Ohio who uses the traditional Itilian process. This enables us to provide the highest quality most authentic tasting gelato that you can experience in Ohio.

Sorbetto is an Italian frozen dessert, typically based on fruit, containing no dairy, which makes it fat-free. Sorbetto is similiar to what you may know as a sherbert or sorbet. Our sorbettos are made with only the highest quality fresh fruit and juices. To create these refreshing fat-free sorbettos, we use purified water and true, natural ingredients. To ensure the highest quality Sorbetto we use fresh fruit. Sorbetto flavors will vary depending on which fruits are currenly in season.
